Bloomington-Normal 2010 MCIA Scholastic Chess Championship Tournament Saturday, December 11th and 12th - 2010

Parking: Free Parking at Days Inn.

Sections: Dec 11th2010 2 sections by grade: LP (K-1), and Elementary (4,5)
Dec 12th 2010 2 sections by grade: U.P (2-3), and Junior High(6,7,8)
Limit 25 players per section.

Number of Rounds and Time Limits: 5 rounds G/30

Registration Limit: Registration is limited to the first 100 entries or 25 per section.

Prizes: 5 Trophies per section, biggest upset, in each section. Commemorative medals for all non-trophy players. All players will take home something!.

Entry Fee: $18 (MCIA Members will get additional discount). Please make entries by registering online at www.ourmcia.org. Or through MCIA membership volunteers. Entry deadline is 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9th, 2010 or until limit of 100 entries / 25 per section are met. McLean County scholastic player will have first priority.

Registration (coaches & parents only): Check in and all changes are due by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday/Sunay. You must be checked in by 9:00 or you will not be paired for the first round. The first round will start at 9:30 a.m. with subsequent rounds to follow as soon as possible.

USCF Registrations: USCF membership required, JTP acceptable for K-3. Please check that your USCF registrations are current through 10/10. USCF can be purchased on site or at www.uschess.org.

Food Service: Pizza, Donuts, Samosa, snacks and beverages will be available.
