MCIA 2011 Committee's second event of the year, "YOUTH OPEN HOUSE" organized today was attended by a large number of Youths from our community. MCIA Committee would like thank all the parents of the Kids that participated, for your support to the event and also motivating Kids to participate.
Various community service events lined up this year for our youth was presented by the Community service committee members, Rahul Bafna, Vaneetha Crompton, Ashlesha Raut and Uma Kallakuri. We had Kersten Wilson, Easter Seals Director as the guest who provided our Kids with options for community service activities with a motivational speech. Youths participated in an interactive session to brain storm various community service activities they would like to organize and participate.
Kids who could not participate at the event today, are also welcome to participate in MCIA community service activities. If your Kid is interested in participating, please email Rahul Bafna at bafnafamily@yahoo.com or ourmcia@gmail.com about your interest along with the Kid's name, age and also email id for receiving community service activity information. Community Service activities information is available on MCIA's website www.ourmcia.org in the "Events" link.
Some of the events planned during the year / discussed during the meeting are open to MCIA members Kids only. Please renew / obtain your MCIA membership by contacting any of the committee member to support the organization and it's activities.
