2010 President Message

New Year Greetings from MCIA 2010 Committee

Dear MCIA Members,

MCIA - 2010 committee, wishes you and your family a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year and thank you for your continued support to MCIA.

McLean County Indian Association is entering into its 31st year of existence. As the curtain falls on the year 2009, it is time to reflect on the challenges and aspirations of the association for the New Year 2010. With a sizeable population of people of Indian origin making McLean County their home, there is a lot of potential for our association to grow.

2010 MCIA committee, would like to solicite your ideas, thoughts and suggestions for new programs / events that MCIA can host this New Year. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and ideas by sending an email to ourmcia@gmail.com.

I would like to take this opportunity to convey my sincere appreciations to the outgoing MCIA committee for all their hard work during the year 2009.

MCIA is an association by the people, of the people and for the people. Together we can make a difference in the community and progress forward as a collective group and achieve success.

Regards,
Ramesh Chilla,
MCIA President-2010

"The object of a New Year is not that we should have a New Year. It is that we should have a new soul and new nose; new feet, a new back bone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective" - G.K Chesterton
