As part of the ongoing MCIA's "PARIGYAAN"  Musical series being presented by famous Bloomington-Normal musicians which includes LIVE demonstrations of musical instruments, the THIRD presentation details are below :
 
Topic : HISTORY OF INDIAN VOCAL MUSIC
Where : MCLEAN COUNTY MUSEUM OF HISTORY, 200 N.Main Street, Bloomington, IL
Date : TUESDAY, JUNE 28th
Time : 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM 

• In this session we would be tracing the evolution of Indian Music from the vedas to its present day form.
• The lecture will try to explain the science and philosophy of the music and its deeply meditative form.
• The lecture would be accompanied by audio visual snippets of eminent artists in the field of music.
• We would also have demonstrations during the presentation along with a concluding session of question and answers.
