MCIA 2011 committee would like to thank all the particpating Kids, Parents and Community members for participation and support in making the 2011 Kids Talent Show, a GRAND SUCCESS. We had a record number of 160 Kids participate in the event this year. The event was well balanced with diverse types of items presented by Kids. MCIA Committee also organized a Fashion show and a Music show as part of the Talent Show.
The Community Services team along with Youth Volunteers organized a Bake sale as fundraiser for Japan's Tsunami victims. The Team raised $300.00 at the event. The funds raised will be handed over to American Red Cross.

Dear members,
Mclean County India Association presents "MCIA Kids Talent Show-2011", the most sought after Talent search program for Mclean county KIDS every year.
MCIA requests all parents to encourage their kids to participate in this MEMBERS EXCLUSIVE event and also spread the word among friends to become MCIA members to participate.
Venue : CAPEN AUDITORIUM
Date : Saturday, April 23rd
Time : 2:30 PM onwards
Event is planned for TWO hours of duration and entries will be first-come-first-serve basis.
Entry Time line:
*ITEM SUBMISSION DEADLINE - All entries will need to be submitted online on or before Friday, March 25th. Please click here to access the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. No other forms of entry will be accepted.
*AUDIO SUBMISSION DEADLINE - AUDIO SONG [if needed for the program] in Mp3 format needs to be emailed to ourmcia@gmail.com by email on or before Wednesday, April 13th.
GUIDELINES FOR THE EVENT :
Member Kids with valid 2011 MCIA membership and registered by March 25th will only participate in the Kids Talent Show.
1st come 1st serve. No repetition allowed - If the same song is registered by more than one group, the 1st group gets the preference and other group [s] will be requested to change the song.
One program per Kid
Skit : 5 to 10 minutes maximum
Participant Kid should be minimum 4 years of age through High School
Group Timings : 4 to 6 minutes maximum
Solo -3 minutes maximum only for SPECIAL CATEGORY [Instrumental, Mono-acting will only be accepted]
Participating Kids will be presented with Certificates.
Please pass on your renewal/new membership to any one of the MCIA 2011 Committee members.
